At Distinguished Images Cleaning Service, we are dedicated to making a difference in our community. Since the inception of our partnership in 2013, we’re proud to share that we’ve completed 185 free cleanings for individuals undergoing cancer treatments. These efforts have touched the lives of over 80 families in Southeast Idaho, providing them with a clean and supportive environment during challenging times.

A Personal Journey: Remembering Annette

Annette, a cherished client of Distinguished Images Cleaning Service, shared her journey with us before she passed from Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) on July 3, 2019. Her words are a testament to the profound impact our services had on her life:

October 18, 2017, I wrote the following:

"I am grateful for the women who work for Distinguished Images, a cleaning service who partners with Cleaning for a Reason. Cleaning for a Reason is an organization that pairs cleaning services with cancer patients. They have come into my home once a month for the last 3 months. A team of 3 women volunteer their time to come to my house for 2 hours each month and whip my house into shape. They clean every little speck of dust and dirt. They do a fantastic job! Tomorrow is their last time. (The service is for 4 months). After that if I want to continue, they give me a sizable discount. What a blessing they have been. There have been many more acts of service by friends and family. I am so grateful for all those who give of themselves in so many ways. My life is blessed immeasurably."

It is now April 2019 and Distinguished Images has sent the same team to my home every 2 weeks for the past 18 months. They do it at a substantial discount and I don’t know what I would do without them. I am unable to clean my home now and they are a great blessing in my life. When this team of women who come every 2 weeks learned I am dying they hugged me and wept. I was struggling to put my socks on one day and Val knelt down, and with tears streaming down her face, put my socks on. These women don’t speak much English, but our hearts speak to one another. They served me without knowing I was dying for a long time. They were broken hearted when they found out. Putting my socks on may seem like a small thing, but as I watched Val, and the tears streaming down her face, it felt like the greatest act of love I have ever experienced. Val, I don’t speak Spanish, but my heart wants you to know I love you very much.
